Golden Foods S.A., a benchmark for the canning industry in the Region of Murcia, chose years ago to abandon the non-repayable systems and began to rent their pallets, thus adding to this growing trend of “Pooling.”
However, they soon realized that, although more profitable than the pallet purchase, the “pooling” was a complex system that required a very particular level of attention and management. And this could only mean one thing: there was great potential for optimization.
That was when they decided to go one step further and rely on the services of Compal Logistics. As a result of a close and fruitful collaboration between both organizations, in just 6 months the Golden Foods pallet spending was reduced by 33%.
